In general, you cannot connect a pair of speakers to a computer, because the computer's sound board does not normally include a power amplifier fit to drive a speaker. It might be possible to drive very small speakers with a high impedance directly from a sound board's headphone output, though.Note that most "PC Speakers" can be directly connected to a computer's audio output because the speaker itself contains a power amplifier. Strictly speaking, such a speaker is a combination of a loudspeaker and an amplifier (sometimes also called an active speaker).

Polk Audio was founded in 1972 by two young graduates of Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. Matthew Polk, a physics major, and George Klopfer, a student of history, had built public address systems for fiddlers' conventions, and the pair decided they would start a business making audio speakers. The new company, which was formed with only $200 in capital, was named after Polk because his name was easier to pronounce. Initially working out of an unheated garage, the two founders set as their goal speakers which would combine the airy, crisp sound of European designs with the bassier, more powerful style of American ones. --Zeek MHT PRO BESTBUY 1119

I am also looking for a better answer to this question. I have always known that almost all car speakers were 4 ohms, unless talking about subwoofers and/or dual coiled speakers, and that home speakers were 8 ohms. And until recently have thought this to be true. Until I looked on the back of my dads pair of Dynaudio speakers and saw that the impedence was 4 ohms. Now I am completely confused. Initially I thought it was due to the Voltage and Current that Car audio lacks and Home Audio has plenty of and then I see this!!! LOL

To connect multiple X mini speakers, ensure they support a multi-pairing feature or have a dedicated app for linking. Typically, you’ll first pair the primary speaker with your audio source, then put the other speakers in pairing mode and connect them one by one or through the app. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for specific steps, as the process may vary by model. Once connected, you can play audio simultaneously across all the speakers.

While it does have Bluetooth capabilities for hands-free calling, it cannot connect to Bluetooth speakers or other audio devices for music playback. For audio navigation prompts, it typically uses the device's built-in speaker or can output through an auxiliary cable.
