Well in Ballroom dancing their are different styles. It depends what country you are from. The main styles are Ballroom, Latin American and Street Latin. Ballroom (Also called Modern or Standard) involves Waltz, Foxtrot, Quickstep, Tango, Vienesse Waltz. In Latin the dances are Samba, Cha Cha Cha, Rumba, Paso Doble and Jive. The two above are competitve dances. The last one Street Latin is social dancing. This involves Mambo, Argentine Tango etc etc

Not necessarily, but anything can be whatever you make it and ballroom dancing certainly has been used to that purpose, and not only by vampires. The Tango is hard to be thought of as anything else but a 'mating ritual'. In 'Dracula: Dead and loving it' Ballroom dancing was definitely used as a means of seduction and boy! for someone undead he can sure move around.
yes, and in some places the jive still is a ballroom dance. Although, they may only use the Jive for team Jive competitions, it is still sometimes considered ballroom dancing.
