i think that disadvantages outweight advantages . i can think only two advantages of talent shows : a] shoot people easy to fame and participants can win money . on the other hand there are much more disadvantages talents shows now a days are more about hype and add than bringing the real talent into limelight . there is more of fights between judges that is highlighted again and again rather thn foccusing on the talend . tv shows can be ruthless in their evaluation of a contenstants performance . i believe that the majority of the participants stultify themself by doing everythin not to eliminate grom the show
