he owned alot of theatres i think :p he had 12 and a half percent ownage of THE GLOBE THEATRE where he performed most of his plays
At Theatres. Shakespeare's plays were performed at The Globe, The Theatre, The Curtain and probably The Rose.
They weren't. Although when plays were acted indoors at court, private halls and indoor theatres like the Blackfriars, they were acted at night, the open-air outdoor theatres like the Globe needed sunlight to illuminate the stage and so the plays were put on in the late afternoon.
Innyards made natural theatres. Indeed so common was the fashion of performing in innyards that theatres like the Globe based their design on them.

Depends when you are talking about. In the 1590s, in the heyday of Elizabethan theatre, just about everyone could and did go to the large public theatres to see plays including Shakespeare's. As the seventeenth century started, plays were increasingly performed at indoor theatres with higher ticket prices. These performances would have been beyond the means of the poorer class of theatregoer.
William Shakespeare acted in his own plays in four theatres: the Theatre, Curtain, Globe and Blackfriars. He may also have appeared in his own plays before 1594 with whatever company he was with, but we do not know which company or which theatre.

everyone liked his plays because they related to eveyday life and he liked HOT chicks.:)
They were performed in theatres and also at court, in private houses and public halls. Among the theatres where Shakespeare's plays were performed in his lifetime were the Theatre, the Curtain, the Rose, Newington Butts, the Globe and the Blackfriars.
The Blackfriars. None of the other theatres where his plays were performed were in London because the City of London was actually unfriendly to theatres and did not allow the big public theatres to be built there. All of the big public theatres were either north of London or south of the River Thames in a district called Southwark. (One of them was even further south, at Newington near Clapham)
