I would probably be able to write an entire book on interesting stuff about Harry Houdini. Well he began performing at the age of 8 in a trapeze show he put on in his backyard. Since his father never brought in enough money, he charged a 1 cent admission to his shows to help bring in cash. Houdini also loved to read. When he was older and extremely rich from his career, he had so many book in his house, he hired a full time librarian. There is much controversy on the subject, but Houdini also reportedly flew the first plane ever to take off in Australia. He was a very athletic man, and he was able to expand and suck in his torso, enabling himself to shake loose of his strait jackets that he used for his escape performances.

Harry Houdini changed what he liked throughout his lifetime. He was a magician, an escape artist, a medium, and a pilot. Harry also wrote some books, directed some movies, and had lots of birds in their house.
