so far i have found - director, actor, singer, makeup artist, play writer, prop designer, presenter, musician and dancer! Not sure whether they all fit into the category but hope it helped :)
I personally feel that the performing arts do help kids. It is a way in which children can build there confidence and will also help them if they are in an environment in which they have to act a certain way, by taking drama they would be able to look at the characteristics of the job and perform to the maximum level. If children take dance classes they are more likely to be unafraid at auditions and job interviews and by playing a musical instrument you are allowing them to get out teen angst and to express themselves in a way that is safe can can be done in a loving and caring environment. Also it allows kids to become more academically involved if they are dyslexic or are failing at core subjects like maths and english as they an fall back on performing arts.
A performing arts company is a group of individuals that puts on an ongoing series of performances like dance pieces or plays, as compared to groups who are assembled specifically for one project. A community theater may have members who perform more than one job, (ex: an actor might also help build the sets). Some performing arts companies put on travelling shows, but most have a home venue. Many of these companies perform works written by its own members and have revolving roles. The directing role may be handed off from project to project, whereas some companies have a resident director.
Depends what country you are in, what your qualifications are, and how much experience you have. As you asked this to Performing Arts section I would expect you are in Performing Arts. In this case it is quite easy to get a job at $15 per hr. Audition for contrats in US and in Europe, particularly France and Germany. In France Moulin Rouge dancers make up to 2000e per month. All depends on the work/contract. In the US, Vegas Dancers make good money as do Cruise ship dancers. Commercial dancers for video clips get paid very well also.

There is no such degree as "arts, visual and performing." Performing arts is acting, voice, dance, etc. Visual arts include painting, sculpture, photography, etc. When pursing any degree, it is a good idea to have a career path in mind. The focus of your degree will determine job opportunities. You can do some research online.
Go for a job in performing arts
Nothing.
It may be necessary to invest money into some business job opportunities. However there are some business job opportunities out there that are free and completely legitimate that you can do.
it is really fun and if you like being creative and love the performing arts it is the best job for you
Some are genuine opportunities but the majority are not.

There is no such degree as "visual and performing arts;" rather, it is a broad label of the category. Performing arts is acting, voice, dance, etc. Visual arts include painting, sculpture, photography, etc. When pursing any degree, it is a good idea to have a career path in mind. The focus of your degree will determine job opportunities. The Art Institute is a proprietary school and costly. Depending on the specific program, the curriculum is intense and is nearly all focused on the student's interest. Where as a liberal arts school might require a foreign language, math, science and other courses that do not appear to be related to the major field of study, a school like the Arts Institute generally does not. There will be some math and a couple of writing courses, but otherwise the studies are intensely related to the major field. It depends on what you want to do. Check out the rate of employment of graduates. What kind of placement services does the school offer? Map out your career goals and see if the program meshes.
Job opportunities that match your career interests depend on your specific interests and skills. Some potential options could include roles in fields such as marketing, engineering, healthcare, finance, technology, education, or the arts. It's important to explore different industries and roles to find the best fit for your career goals.
Some job opportunities for physics majors include working as a research scientist, engineer, data analyst, teacher, or in the fields of finance, technology, and healthcare.
