Tybalt recognizes Romeo and is very upset that a Montague has come. Capulet tells him to calm down because Romeo is known to be a polite boy, and he doesn't want the party to be ruined.
The Capulet's ball was to take place at night
Well, it depends on what you think the "first Capulet" was. The first Capulet Romeo falls in love with was Rosaline Capulet, Juliet's first cousin. Juliet was, of course, the second.
Capulet's Ball is open to everyone except the Montagues (the family which has a traditional enmity with the Capulets). When Tybalt (a Capulet) realises that Romeo (a Montague) is at the Ball, he wants to start a fight. But Old Capulet (Juliet's father) tells Tybalt that it is a party, and that Romeo seems a nice enough fellow. Tybalt is very angry that he has been prevented from starting a fight. But it isn't so difficult to work out who Romeo is. At the end of the party, when the guests are starting to leave, Juliet asks her nurse to find out who the young man was that Juliet has been talking to. It takes the nurse a few moments to ascertain that it is Romeo - but only a few moments.
A servant of Capulet informs Romeo by handing him a paper that tells of the ball and invites him along. Benvolio then persuades Romeo to go along and compare Rosalines face to others to prove thy swan a crow. Answer from: http://www.william-shakespeare.info/act1-script-text-romeo-and-juliet.htm
Because he (Capulet) and Montague are both very old men who've grown weary of all of the fighting

Romeo is well-known around Verona - even Old Capulet has heard of him (as we find out in the argument Old Capulet has with Tybalt in the Ball scene). But Romeo has never seen Juliet before he meets her at Old Capulet's ball. This is surprising in a town as small as Verona. Perhaps Old Capulet has kept Juliet at home most of the time. This would make sense: she is his only surviving child, and she seems very naive in the ways of the world until she meets Romeo. (When Lady Capulet asks her if she wants to marry Paris, Juliet seems not to have given the matter much thought). But once Juliet has chosen Romeo she does everything she can so that they can be married without a moment's hesitation. Juliet grows up fast, and - like most of Shakespeare's heroines - she knows what she wants.

The main characters in Romeo and Juliet are Romeo and Juliet. Other important characters include the Nurse, Benvolio, Mercutio, Tybalt, Friar Lawrence, and Old Capulet and his wife Lady Capulet.
Capulet is not into the feud in the big way that Tybalt, Samson and Gregory are. As far as he's concerned, Romeo appears to be a nice fellow and not worth worrying about.

There was an "old accustomed feast" which is to say, a party, at Capulet's place.
Juliet Capulet is the daughter of the Capulet and Lady Capulet. She is 13 years old and yes that is the same age she got married. Although the Capulets wanted her to marry Paris ,he is about twenty years old, she didnt wanna marry him. She was brave enough to tell her parents no but after she was already married to romeo. Of course that didnt know about that marriage. Its was private. Only Romeo and Juliet and Nurse and Friar Lawerence knew about it. Juliet is a quiet girl but she has feelings and emotions just like anbody else. Now you know all about JULIET CAPULET
Hi,In answer to your question:The Capulets are one of the 2 main families in Shakesperes' tragic play "Romeo and Juliet". Juliet is the daughter of the Capulets, who are the sworn enemies of the Montagues, the other main family in the play and the family of Romeo.
It of course does not say in the script how old Capulet is. The actor who played him, Paul Hardwick, was 50 years old in 1968 (it was in this year, not 1969, that the Zeffirelli film, which I assume to be the one you mean, was released.)
