Shakespeare doesn't tell us what happened to Marullus and Flavius after they removed the crowns and robes from Caesar's statues. He only tells us they were silenced. Perhaps they were executed or had their tongues cut out, but there is no way to know for sure since Shakespeare left it to the reader's imagination.
By compressing the events of the story, Shakespeare was able to give it a breathlessness that makes us think of Romeo and Juliet being swept away on a tide of events. Shakespeare compressed events in other stories as well. This is especially noticeable in the histories, where the events of twenty years are portrayed as if they happened in a couple of weeks or months. Shakespeare did this to keep the flow of the story going. But it is nowhere as pronounced as it is in Romeo and Juliet.
Richard starts the play by telling us what is going through his mind. Throughout the play he shares his comments on what has happened, what is happening and what he hopes will happen so that we are to a certain extent drawn into his viewpoint. This creates a certain amount of sympathy for him.
Merry Wives of Windsor. It's the same play that gave us "the world's my oyster".
We have no idea what Shakespeare liked to do. He left us no indication whatsoever of his personal likes and dislikes.

There is no sense asking what Shakespeare's favourite anything was, since he left us no diaries or letters which would tell us. We have no idea about Shakespeare's favourites. Period.
