Dancers often use their arms to create fluid shapes, such as raising them above the head or extending them outward, while coordinating their movements with the clapping of bamboo poles. The arms may also mimic the movements of the feet, enhancing the visual storytelling of the dance. Overall, the arm movements are integral to the overall aesthetic and rhythm of the performance.
