Age, the New Year, and space go up but never come down.
The answer to the riddle "What goes up and never comes down" is your age. As time passes, everyone ages year by year, and this progression is something we experience daily. While we may celebrate birthdays and milestones, our age only increases, never decreases.
your age

never ? really the answer is that kinetic energy is changer to potential energy then when the laws of gravity and inertia come into play it is converted back into kinetic energy
No one can say because more people come down in England every year and lose students at schools so it goes down like every week day or month
This is not a law. This is a statement indicating the action of gravity. Gas bubbles move upwards when released under water, and don't come back down. But these gases don't leave the Earth. Helium goes up, and doesn't come back down. But it doesn't leave the Earth. Hydrogen goes up, and the thermal energy available far up in the atmosphere will allow some hydrogen to reach escape velocity. Once hydrogen escapes, it will not come back down. Several spacecraft have gone up and are never expected to come back down. There was a manhole cover over the bore where underground atomic testing was occuring. That manhole cover went up, and had it not vaporized in our atmosphere, it would never have come back down. So, "hydrogen goes up, and some of it never comes back down". reply: mmmm, not very satisfactory im afraid, good effort though, seems nothing truly applies to the "law" . cheers!
