"Come death and welcome! Juliet wills it so." His earlier line, "Let me be ta'en, let me be put to death" actually puts more clearly the danger he is in, but the later one makes clear to Juliet that she is the one who is putting him in danger. She is responsible for talking him into staying past dawn, and this makes her act more responsibly.

Who were friends of Paris in Romeo and Juliet?

I am not aware of any of his freinds, but he did seem very friendly with Capulet as he would always come to their mansion to ask Capulet whether he could marry Juliet yet. He did have a page in Act 5 Scene 3.

What does romeo compare Juliet to in scene 1?

Romeo's single line in this scene is: "Can I go forward when my heart is here? Then back, dull earth, and find thy centre out." Arguably the words "my heart" could refer to Juliet, although he is not talking about Juliet, the girl who is external to him, but of his need to be with her, his desire for her. Romeo places this need at the heart or centre of his being, and says that it is permanently where she is, and that he must move his body, the "dull earth" to where his "centre" is. It's all about Romeo not about Juliet.

Whats ironic about the conversation between Paris and Juliet in act 4?

cos Juliet and the audience know she has no intention of meeting him at the church to become his wife - as she is already married and we know she has to find a way out of it - plus the chorus tells the audience 2 lovers 'take their life' so the audience can safely assume she will be dead before Paris tries to claim her anyway

Have romeo and juliet made decisions about their lives or has fate directed them?

You can make a good case for both. Shakespeare did this on purpose. The things Romeo and Juliet decided to do or not do, such as deciding to get married without telling their parents about it, or choosing suicide, are things that were clearly within their power. But a number of things happen to them which are out of their control. In particular, the chain of events which resulted in Romeo hearing that Juliet was dead without hearing that it was all a fake for his benefit, was the most horrific bad luck. Nobody could say that it was within Romeo or Juliet's control. Shakespeare wanted the audience to feel that Romeo and Juliet were put in the position of making hard choices, but they did make those choices themselves. Knowing how hard they tried just makes it sadder.
