In Act III, Scene 2, Juliet is impatient for Romeo to arrive so they can lose their virginities. The Nurse is to bring the rope ladder for Romeo to climb up to Juliet's bedroom window, which is why, when the nurse arrives, she says: "What hast thou there? The cords that Romeo bid thee fetch?" But Juliet expresses no impatience for the rope ladder, only for Night to come and "bring me my Romeo."
