What is difference between the origanal globe theatre and the modern theatre?

The Globe Theatre was not enclosed, as there were no interior bean sources. All performances took place during daylight hours. Scenery was limited and mostly suggestive. Much of the audience had to stand.

The key is that the actors are very close to the audience. The Yard is just around the front of the stage. The actors are in the crowd. The actors see the faces of the audience and thereby must play to them.

Modern classic theater does not have this experience except theater in the round.

The globe theatre had no roof and there was a lot of room for standing (in the yard, just in front of the stage). Only the rich sat in seats which were balconies, higher up and around the edge. Nowadays, there is no yard, everyone sits and there is not a machine room as such.

Shakespeare's Globe Theatre (a modern theatre opened in 1997 and imitating the style of the Globe Playhouse built in 1599) is for the performance of stage plays, not for the showing of movies. Stage plays require a stage where people can walk around acting, together with a backstage containing dressing rooms, props rooms, a green room and so on. Movies require a screen, a projection area, and speakers. The only thing which is similar is that both require space to accommodate an audience, although a modern day movie theatre would likely not expect a large portion of the audience to watch the film standing up.
