Capulet thinks the city should be bound to the Friar because he has talked Juliet into marrying Paris. (Why the whole city should care I don't know.) Of course the audience knows that this Friar whom Capulet is praising has actually talked Juliet into faking her death so she won't have to marry Paris.

Why does Juliet say she is going to Friar Laurence's cell?

They are Catholic people and Friar Lawrence is a priest. Although her parents do not let Juliet out of the house for any other reason, they are duty bound as good Catholics to allow her to visit a priest, confess her sins and be absolved--that's one of the sacraments. Juliet uses this excuse twice in the play to get out of the house and go to Friar Lawrence's

Did the feud between the Montagues and Capulets start over nothing or did something REALLY happened to make both families to hate each other?

Shakespeare does not tell us what the origin of the feud is. Something must have happened, but it might well have been some trivial incident blown out of proportion by these two proud and ambitious rival families. It is clear that whatever the original cause of the dispute, it has small hold on the heads of the families--Capulet seems content to abide by the no fighting rule if Montague is also bound by it, and to allow Romeo to crash his parties without consequence. Montague does not seem eager to fight either. They both get dragged into it by guys like Tybalt, Samson and Gregory, who feel they have a duty to fight Montagues (even though they are not Capulets themselves but servants or off-relatives of people related by marriage).

Three relationships that bind duncan and Macbeth?

Duncan and Macbeth are cousins. Therefore, they are bound by kinship. They are also bound by subject and host, as Macbeth is hosting Duncan as his guest.

How would Romeo's life and Juliet's have changed if instead of brawling the Montagues and the Capulets had obeyed the instructions of their prince and kept the peace?

Actually the Montagues and Capulets did a pretty good job of not brawling after the Prince made that declaration in Act 1. The problem actors were Tybalt and Mercutio, and Tybalt was not a Capulet (he was the son of Mrs. Capulet's brother) nor was Mercutio a Montague (he was a relative of the Prince, which is why he got invited to Capulet's party). Let's see what might have happened if we take these two out of the picture.Romeo and Juliet get married at the end of Act 2. They spend all day waiting for the night to come, and that night they consummate their marriage. Now, with Friar Lawrence's help, they announce their marriage to their parents. It is consummated so the marriage cannot be annulled. One of two things happens at this point. Possibly Capulet and Montague are relieved to see the end of the fighting and embrace the opportunity to reconcile. Since Romeo and Juliet are the heirs of their respective families, the family interests and businesses are happily and successfully joined in them.On the other hand, knowing that Romeo and Juliet are joined "til death do them part" they might try to make that happen as soon as possible. Hired toughs would be sent to get Romeo into a fight by the Capulets, and secret poisoners sent by the Montagues try to kill Juliet. Both eventually succeed, leaving the situation just as it is in the play. You don't need to talk about "the Montagues and Capulets" here. There is only one man who cannot keep the peace: Tybalt. If Tybalt had not been so insistent on getting Romeo into a fight, which he starts doing in Act 1 Scene 5, Mercutio would not have been killed, and Romeo would not have felt it necessary to avenge him. He would not have killed Tybalt and would not have been banished. Act 3 Scene 1 would never have happened. Romeo and Juliet would have consummated their marriage and then . . . well, it's hard to say. In the source Shakespeare got the story from they got together secretly for months before the tragedy happened. If they did not tell their parents, tragedy would be bound to strike sooner or later. And if they did tell their parents that they were secretly married and who knows, maybe Juliet was pregnant . . .

What is ironic about Capulet's praise of the friar?

Capulet praises the friar for helping Juliet be a good daughter, not realizing the friar has actually helped Juliet disobey him by marrying her to Romeo in secret. This is ironic because the friar's actions directly contradict what Capulet believes the friar's role should be.

What is a similarity between a friar and monks?

Roman Catholic answer: The similarity is that they are both religious (in the Catholic church this is a technical term to differentiate from lay). They have dedicated their lives to God, and are both under vows or promises. Most friar take the three vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience. Most monks take three vows of stability, conversion of manners and obedience. Monks are usually bound to a particular monastery, whereas friars are bound to an Order or group of religious. Both of them are single celibates, both of them pray regularly as provided by their Holy Rule and both of them have a distinctive habit.
