Alright, here I am assuming that you are in a show and need help memorizing your lines... so here goes :S What I do is when we are rehearsing the scene, use the script the first time then keep working (during the rehearsal) on using it less and less often, basically if you know the start of your line then don't look at it until you know you need it for the second half. Also think of lines more of a response rather than just another line, then it will help you when someone says their line you are simply responding. For some people it takes reading them over and over, OUT LOUD helps so you get the correct emphasis you want and some people like the write them down and write their cue lines as well. Have someone read with you and say the cue lines and have them be "on book" with the script... Good luck and some other experience actors you are working with might have some good tips for you, especially if they struggle with lines too. :D

In "The Weary Blues," Langston Hughes uses indentation to mimic the call-and-response structure common in jazz music. The indented lines represent the call, while the following lines act as the response, creating a rhythmic and interactive quality similar to jazz improvisation. This format helps to bring out the musical quality of the poem and emphasizes the influence of jazz on Hughes' writing.
There are multiple standing on this: The Cafe itself is not the irony, but the irony is the two of them betraying each other. Or the more likely you are thinking of: The lines Winston thinks "under the spreading Chestnut tree/I sold you and you sold me" which is a line from a Glenn Miller song, however it has bastardized implications, making the thought ironic.
