levels in dance means the hight you are in.

so you could be Break Dancing [usially on the floor] This means your level is on the ground, so you are quite low. Its basically the position you are in. you could be a Ballet dancer [normally standing tall on their tip toes] This means your level is high.

But even your dance teacher wouldent explain levels eves like this. if she/he does explain levels she would use her/his hand showing where your hight was at in your performance.
