In Shakespeare's Macbeth, King Duncan had two sons, Malcolm and Donalbain. Donalbain leaves for Ireland in Act II and that's the last we hear of him. Malcolm ends up succeeding Macbeth.
Haha, I find this question kind of funny. Depending on how old your child is, it could be any reason. Does your child like the play or name MacBeth? Or maybe the child just heard the name macbeth, and became obsessed. I did that as a child!
Brave Macbeth
The play of the same name - Macbeth.
Macbeth is the name of a play written by William Shakespeare. It is rife with superstition, people consider it bad luck to say the name Macbeth aloud.
The real king Macbeth's wife's name was Gruoch (you can see why Shakespeare didn't use it). It was her second marriage; by her first to Gillecomlan she had a son, Lulach, who succeeded Macbeth as king.
I imagine you must be talking about Macbeth, because you name Duncan, and the only guards he has are those who Macbeth kills. But they are always named together as "grooms" and "chamberlains", and they are never distinguished from each other. There is no "first guard" and there is no indication of their age.
