I THINK IT DEPENDS ON their own style or creatiity in joining the pageant...
do your best and judge will give u a highest percentage...
That all depends on how many girls show up. Its usually about 3/4 of the girls.
Well, there are 5 age groups in National American Miss - Princess, Jr. Pre Teen, Pre Teen, Jr. Teen, and Teen. It varries state-to-state, but generally, there are 100-200 girls participating in each division (in the state pagent). Ya, I know that's a lot!P.S. With sooo many girls participating, its crucial that you stand out to the judges if you are serious about winning.

At the 2014 open call it was stated by the spokeswoman that only 50% of open call attendees will receive a call back for the National American Miss Pageant in each state. This is because if they were to invite every girl that attended an open call than the pageant would last for a week or more. An open call is held in various cities in each state.
I don't know for sure. Stefanie won National American Sweetheart for American Coed Pageants.

I am not quite sure what the exact year this organization was created (sometime around 2002/2003?). From what I understand some of the organizers of the American Coed pageant system split and decided to organize NAM (National American Miss). I'm not the same person who answered this question in the first place, but I know that all the letters and websites for National American Miss say they have been around for 28 years. They still have videos online of girls who won way back in like, the 1990s or something.
When you are in the pageant, they send you a series of magazines that have all the information. In Magazine 3, there is a form where you can recommend friends or girls that you feel would qualify.

The contestants have to sign papers, or audition in order to participate.

Yes. I have been in the pageant and I love that it is not like any other pageant. National American Miss is not a scam, it is definitely different from the other pageants. You don't wear swimsuits, except to have fun at the hotel pool. There is no required Talent, it has lower cost, focus on fun, no makeup until you are a teenager, but while it is not like the other pageants, it is still very much a valid pageant. More information: Pageantry Magazine says that National American Miss has grown to now be the most attended pageant in America. National American Miss gives out so much stuff that they actually give out a free new car as a door prize among the girls that are there. That's hot! They have events in all of these locations, contracted with big name event places and hotels. www.namiss.com/findyourstate They have all of the winners names listed, in tons of categories, for tons of years.
The National American Miss pageant is not a scam, though it can be costly and participants are encouraged to earn the money to pay them.
It is impossible to know how many girls are entered into beauty pageants because there are so many different pageants, and some girls start entering them at very young ages. Still, only a small percentage of girls enter pageants, and still fewer make it to the big name pageants like Miss America, Miss USA, etc.
