Why does benvolio urge Tybalt and mercutio to take their fight off the streets?

Benvolio urges tybalt and mercutio to take their fight off the streets because there are people watching and the prince would get them in trouble if he saw them fighting.

Why does the prince ask benvolio to retell the events of the fight?

In Act 3, Scene 1 there has been a fight in the streets resulting in the deaths of Mercutio and Tybalt. The Prince, on arrival, is being both an investigator and a judge. He questions Benvolio because he was a witness. He was right there and saw what had happened. His account of the events is much to be preferred over that of Mrs. Capulet, who wasn't there and is just making it up.

Why does the prince choose benvolio to explain what has happened?

Benvolio was an eyewitness. He actually saw what happened. Mrs. Capulet makes up a story of what she hopes happened and tries to get the Prince to believe it, but he's no fool. He accepts Benvolio's story but still does not hold Romeo blameless.

What does benvolio say he will find out for lord and lady Montague?

In Act I, Scene I of Romeo And Juliet, following the exit of the Prince and others, Benvolio first recounts to the Montagues the beginning of the fight that just occurred. He says that when he got to the fight, he saw the servants of the Capulet and Montague houses fighting and when he tried to stop the fight, Tybalt (a capulet) began to fight with him. He then explains how the fighting escalated until Prince Escalus arrived and ended the fight. Next, Lady M. asks Benvolio about her son, Romeo. Benvolio explains that Romeo is pretty bummed out but he isn't sure why, and he's seen Romeo wandering around and avoiding people. Lord Montague then recounts how he's seen Romeo sighing and crying, shutting himself away in the dark inside his house. Nobody seems to be able to figure out why Romeo is so unhappy and they all stand around wondering what they could do to help when Romeo enters.

What is Lady Capulet's comment on Benvolio's story?

Lady Capulet dismisses Benvolio's account of the brawl as untrustworthy because he is a Montague and says, "I never saw it so, hey a' may be's as thy mere a biguponger." This shows her bias towards the Montagues and her unwillingness to consider any information that goes against her beliefs.
