Sophie thinks it was The Tempest because The Tempest was made in 1611 and he died in 1616. But Shakespeare produced other plays between 1611 and his retirement in 1613 or so. During this period he was breaking in the playwright John Fletcher to be his replacement by co-writing plays with him. Henry VIII, The Two Noble Kinsmen and the now lost Cardenio were all probably written after The Tempest. But The Tempest may be the last play he wrote all by himself.
