In Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet", the Frier feels that Romeo's impulsiveness will be his downfall. He acts on immediacy and impulse, without taking the time to think through his decisions. He addresses Romeo's fickleness as well.
Friar Lawrence points out how Romeo loves so easily.
First, he is in love with Rosaline and is later devestated that he is rejected by her, but then he forgets her and moves on to Juilet who he "loves". I thought the Friar might be suggesting Romeo is a bit of (today's terms) a "player".
The friar says in II, 3: "Wisely and slow; they stumble that run fast" in which he points out what he considers one of Romeo's weaknesses. The Friar's motive is the good of the community as well as the happiness of the young couple. The young couple are of course solely interested in their own happiness, or perhaps it would be more accurate to say that they are solely interested in each other's happiness.
The friar accuses Romeo of being fickle, of being all for Rosaline one day and all for Juliet the next. Romeo says no, that Rosaline thing was just a game, but this is the real thing. And he is right; he is not fickle, but remains true to Juliet through some really horrible times. From this moment to the end of the play Romeo does not consider any other woman for one second. Therefore this is not really a weakness in Romeo's character, and there is nothing for the Friar to "point out".
romeos weakness is how fast he falls in love- he fell in love with Juliet at first sight and Rosaline was gone from his mind within a second
Romeo weakness was he gave away his love SOO easy
he states that romeo falls in love to easy and to hard and in a way has commitment issues for leaving rosaline
Friar Laurence means that madmen won't listen to what sane people have to say. In other words, he accuses Romeo of not listening to what he, from an outside point of view, has to say about his proposal to Juliet.
At this point (end of Act 4) here are some of the things that could go wrong: 1. The Capulets could be persuaded by a funeral director to bury Juliet in an airtight coffin. 2. Romeo might get the message from the friar which was written before the wedding was brought forward a day, and so will come a day late. 3. Paris might come to the tomb to pay his respects and find out that Juliet is not dead after all. 4. The friar's messenger to Mantua might get delayed or prevented from arriving. 5. The messenger might get to Mantua, but find that Romeo has decided to move to Pisa instead. 6. Romeo might get so depressed at being seperated from Juliet that he commits suicide. 7. The friar may have mixed the potion wrong, so Juliet does not wake up at the right time, or at all. 8. The nurse might blab out the whole story of the elopement of Romeo and Juliet to Capulet, who will arrange for both Romeo and the friar to be killed.
During the play Juliet does not obey her parents. When they tell her that she will marry Paris, she refuses. She does pretend to obey her parents after she sees Friar Lawrence. She only agrees to marry Paris at this point because she has the toxin the Friar gave her to fake her own death.
Most of the play is dialogue. Pick up a copy, open it at random and point. Odds are someone is talking to someone else, which is what dialogue is. Exceptions are the prologues, soliloquys and public speeches like the Prince makes. The rest is dialogue.
He had the front top ones knocked out at some point and waited a LONG time before having them replaced with a partial or implants.
Romeo weakness was he gave away his love SOO easy
Before agreeing to help Romeo, the Friar points out Romeo's impulsiveness and inability to think things through before acting. He also notes Romeo's tendency to fall in and out of love quickly, suggesting that he may not be ready for the seriousness of marriage. Additionally, the Friar mentions Romeo's tendency to act on his emotions rather than using reason and thoughtfulness.

Romeo believes that Friar Lawrence cannot understand his point of view because the friar is not in love with Juliet like Romeo is. Romeo feels that his intense emotions and passion make his situation unique and beyond the friar's comprehension.

Blabbing and railing about something, even if there is truth to your point, diminishes the strength of it. Excellent rhetoric helps to convince. Poor rhetoric weakens.
Understanding a point of view involves recognizing and comprehending the reasons or perspectives behind it. Excusing a point of view, on the other hand, involves accepting or pardoning it without necessarily agreeing with it. Understanding is about comprehension, while excusing is about leniency.
