Shakespeare was around 24 when he wrote his first play so when he wrote his last play it must of been around 38. Actually it was likely in 1613 (Henry VIII, The Two Noble Kinsmen) when he was 49 that he wrote his last play.

We do not know the exact date, but we know that he left London in 1613 for Stratford, either intending to retire or because of illness. He returned to London in 1614, but he was back in Stratford when he died in 1616. We think that The Winter's Tale and The Tempest were among the last plays that he wrote on his own, and that he collaborated with John Fletcher on Henry VIII and other plays as well.

Shakespeare stopped writing plays around 1612. Scholars believe that he may have written three plays that year with the assistance of his protege John Fletcher: Henry VIII, Cardenio, and The Two Noble Kinsmen
