Such codes are generated by the universal remote manufacturer rather than the TV manufacturer. As such, the actual codes will differ from one remote to another. Regretfully, Olevia TV's (for the most part) use proprietary infrared frequencies. This means that the code for another TV brand will not work with Olevia TV's. If you are looking for a universal remote, Olevia made a learning remote (model RC-LRN). Amergence Technology Inc. sells them for 39.99. They can be reached at 866-965-3842.

Yes, you can program a TV to a universal remote even if the TV itself has no visible power button. You can typically do this by using the remote's setup function and entering the specific code for your TV brand. If you don’t have the code, many universal remotes offer a code search feature that cycles through potential codes until it finds one that works. Additionally, some TVs can be programmed via the remote’s learning function if it supports it.
I was able to use the code search on a GE 4 function remote, I found the remote for $5 at Big Lots. I started the search with the TV on and let it run until it shut the TV off. Steps I took, press and hold the setup key - then release, press and release the TV button, press and release the power button, after TV turns off then press the #1 button to lock in the code. This remote does almost everything but the sleep button.
