Stefan Sittig (born September 17, 1972 in Washington, D.C., United States) is known mostly as an American musical theatre choreographer and performer. His choreography has appeared Off-Broadway, internationally in Canada and Uruguay, and regionally in Washington, D.C., Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania. Although he was born in the U.S., Sittig's mother is Uruguayan and he was raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He is perhaps best known as co-director and choreographer of the World Premiere of the Spanish version of Stephen Schwartz's musical Working (Spanish title: Trabajadores). As a performer, he has appeared at The Kennedy Center, Signature Theatre, Studio Theatre, Olney Theatre, The Barksdale Theatre, Theatre IV, Theatre Virginia, The Actor's Theatre of Washington and Heritage Repertory Theatre. In over 20 years as a performer, he has had the pleasure of appearing onstage with several Broadway and Hollywood luminaries, including Angela Lansbury [1], George Hearn [2], Tina Fey [3], Savion Glover [4], Florence Lacey [5], Judy McLane [6], Betty Ann Grove [7]and Helen Carey [8].
