Juliet in Act 2 Scene 2 of Romeo and Juliet has unwittingly told Romeo that she loves him. She is embarassed when she finds she has given herself away. Girls back then were supposed to play hard-to-get, but even nowadays a girl would be embarassed in this situation.
Oh, please. Are you a fourteen year old girl, have ever been a fourteen year old girl, or have ever known a fourteen year old girl? How would a fourteen-year old girl feel if you started reading her diary, especially if it says how hot she thinks that curly-haired boy that sits two rows over is? She'd be horribly embarrassed. Teenaged girls are hypersensitive about these things; they can't help it; it's genetic. Juliet has done the equivalent of reading her diary out loud when she thinks nobody can hear her, and finding out that the curly-haired boy she thinks is so hot overheard the whole thing. It's a wonder she didn't put a paper bag over her head.
Because what she was thinking out loud was how much she liked and desired Romeo. Any fourteen year old girl would be embarassed being caught saying those kinds of things out loud, especially by the guy she is saying them about.
OK, visualize this. You're a girl talking to your friend at a party and you tell her all about this guy you like, how hot you think he is, what you'd like to do to him, how he makes you feel and so on, and you turn around and he was standing right behind you all along.
Or if you're a guy, imagine you are having that conversation about a girl you really like, and she was standing behind you all along.
If you aren't embarassed by that, you don't know embarassment. You could walk into a job interview without your pants on and not be embarassed.
So, Juliet wasn't talking to a friend--she was talking to herself--but the last person she would want to hear her talking about how much she loves Romeo is Romeo herself.
because she doesn't realize that Romeo was hearing everything she said.
Balthasar heard that Juliet had died. Balthasar went to Mantua, where Romeo was, because Romeo was banished from Verona for killing Juliet's cousin-> Tybalt. Romeo heard from Balthasar that Juliet was dead en he rushed to Verona, to Juliet's tomb. The letter that Friar Lawrence sent to Romeo to warn him that Juliet was in fact not dead at all, came to late-> Romeo already left to see his beloved Juliet for the last time
It is difficult to say. Most people have heard of Hamlet and Romeo and Juliet. They know the plays they studied in school. Many of them will not have any contact with Shakespeare after.
He heard her when she was unaware.
The morning (A Lark is a bird typically heard calling in the morning); after Romeo and Juliet's wedding night.
a situational irony is when someone realizes the oddnes or unfairness in a stiuation and in this case it is when Rome finds out that Juliet is the daughter of Capulet and also when Juliet finds out that Rome is the son of Montague
She criticizes Romeo briefly for killing Tybalt, but soon realizes who she cares more about.
because she was pretty much talkin' to herself.....
The Romeo and Juliet you have heard about isn't any category of poem at all. It's a play.
The line "Is she a Capulet?" is said by Romeo in William Shakespeare's play "Romeo and Juliet". He utters this line when he first sees Juliet at the Capulet's party and realizes she is from the rival Capulet family.
She tries to kill herself with the remains of the poison he killed himself with.

Juliet is initially embarrassed that Romeo overheard her private thoughts, but she ultimately expresses her love for him and accepts that their feelings are mutual. She is touched by his presence and connection to her emotions.

Tons. But you've probably heard of Romeo and Juliet, which was his work.

In William Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet," Lord Capulet admits his part in the tragedy when he realizes the consequences of forcing Juliet to marry Paris against her will. He acknowledges that his actions contributed to the chain of events that led to the deaths of Romeo and Juliet.
