∙ 8y agoWell, heck, being king? How cool would that be? But how is he going to get to be the king? Duncan is the king. And Duncan has two sons who are prime contenders for the throne. Macbeth realizes that it might take some seriously nasty actions to make him king, and that scares him. But being king! That excites him.
