She explains that the boy's mother was a votaress of her order, kind of a nun devoted to Titania's service, who died giving birth to the boy. Titania feels she owes it to the mother to raise the kid.

She is a pretty powerful character, able to stand up quite effectively to Oberon. In her long speech in 2,1 she talks about the environmental disasters caused by the argument between herself and Oberon, and says "We are their parents and original". Oberon replies, "Do you amend it then; it lies in you" which makes it look as if Oberon is heaping all the blame on her when she is prepared to share it. But whether or not she is prepared to share the blame, she is certainly just as selfish as Oberon when it comes to stopping the environmental disasters by giving up the Indian boy. It is not really fair to assess Titania's strengths and weaknesses on the basis of her actions when she is under the influence of the love-in-idleness flower, but once cured, she is herself again and she seems to have totally forgotten about the boy. Apparently that was an excuse to argue with Oberon which makes her pretty petty. She is also pretty rude about poor old Bottom. On the other hand, she shows a forgiving nature toward Oberon and they proceed to bless the wedding which is a good thing.
In "A Midsummer Night's Dream", the fairy king Oberon seeks to trick his wife and queen, Tatiana into giving him the changeling boy. He wants to raise the child as his henchman, while Tatiana wants to raise the child for her mortal follower. He tricks her by putting a spell on her that will make her fall in love with the first person she meets, believing this will completely occupy her and enable him to take the boy.
Puck tells Oberon that the Queen is in love with Bottom. Oberon has asked Puck to do this so that he could get even with his wife for not giving him her slave child. He has a laugh at her expense by watching his wife swoon over a man with a donkey head.

well, it all depends, oberon cheats on titania alot with mermaids and humans and what not, but when she finds out he always makes her feel better by giving her presents and stuff. but when they do get along and oberons between girlfriends, they make a good couple, in a twisted way
Oberon is initially amused by Titania's infatuation with Bottom, as it is part of his plan to trick her into giving him the changeling boy. However, he may also feel a bit surprised and concerned about the situation getting out of hand. Ultimately, Oberon uses this situation to his advantage to resolve the conflict between him and Titania.

Unfortunately, different editions of Shakespeare's plays have different line numbering so it is not altogether clear what passage you mean just from the numbers, unless you can be sure that we are using the same edition. I'm guessing that you are referring to the speech that starts "Set your heart at rest; the fairy land buys not the child of me." This speech is Titania's response to Oberon's demand, "I do but beg a little changeling boy to be my henchman." Oberon wants this boy to be a servant; Titania says no, she wants this boy. This speech is her explanation. The boy's mother was a "votaress of my order", or some kind of nun. She, "being mortal, of that boy did die", or she died giving birth to him. Titania says "for her sake do I rear up her boy and for her sake I will not part with him." The middle part of the speech talks about why Titania was particularly fond of the boy's mother. Apparently when she was pregnant they used to sit on the beach (Neptune's yellow sands) in India (in the spiced Indian air), at night watching the ships go by. The ships' full-bellied sails looked a bit like a pregnant belly, and the boy's mother would go about fething things (fetch me trifles) and bring them to Titania sort of like a merchant ship. Her waddling pregnant walk is called a "swimming gait"--a much nicer expression than waddle.

Yes, Oberon, Uranus' moon, has craters on its surface. The craters are the result of impacts from other celestial bodies over billions of years. Some of Oberon's craters have been partially filled in by ice, giving them a smoother appearance.
