Myths in the Philippines?

Lots of stupid myths in the Philippines. In Luzon, in the mountains of Cagayan; there are stupid myths about "chanaks" and "aswangs". Meaning demon-babies and aswangs, meaning half-vampire and half-human. Also, Filipinos are prone to a lot of religious dogma and completely crap myths. Unlike the traditional myths of Buddhism and Hinduism, those are "cool" myths. But myths in the Philippines are just plain stupid and meant to scare people.
