Which is stronger electric force or gravitational force?

It is difficult to compare the strengths of Electric force and Gravity as they depend on two very different things. The strength of Electric force between two bodies is determined by Charge whereas Gracitational force is determined by mass. In general, it has been observed that the amount of charge particles have causes a larger Electric force to be exerted between them than the Gravitational force induced by their masses. This is also what we observe on a larger scale in everyday life where, for example, one's entire weight is supported by the electormagnetic force between the molecules on the surface of one's feet and the surface of the floor. ^^^I agree that electrical force is stronger than gravitational force. I have always been taught that is is because electrical force acts in all directions, whereas gravity only acts downward.

Is weak force weaker than gravitational force?

The weak nuclear force is stronger than the gravitational force, but it is weaker than the electromagnetic force and the strong nuclear force. The weak force is responsible for processes such as radioactive decay and plays a crucial role in determining the structure of matter at the subatomic level.

Why is gravitational force weaker than stong nuclear force?

The gravitational force is weaker than the strong nuclear force because it operates over large distances and is always attractive, while the strong nuclear force is a short-range force that acts only within the nucleus of an atom. The strong nuclear force is also much stronger than gravity due to its association with the exchange of particles known as gluons.

Why doesn't the repulsive force of protons in the atomic nucleus cause the protons to fly apart?

The strong nuclear force overcomes the repulsive force of protons, holding them together in the nucleus. This force is much stronger than the electromagnetic force that causes the repulsion between the positively charged protons.

How much stronger is the electromagnetic force compared to gravity?

The electromagnetic force is approximately 1036 times stronger than gravity.

Why do cows pick on one cow to fight with?

Cows are much like any other animal, they have weaker animals and stronger animals. They can sense which one is the stronger cow and which one is the weaker cow, if you are the weaker cow, the stronger ones will pick on the weaker one. Sort of like a "pecking" order. Hope that this helps!

No. Electrum is a mix of gold and silver, and is much softer (weaker) than iron.

Is Mars gravity stronger or weaker than Earth's moon?

Since Mars is much larger than the Moon and made of similar materials its gravity must be stronger.

Do stronger acids react more slowly than weaker acids?

Stronger acids typically react more quickly than weaker acids because they are more likely to completely dissociate into ions in solution. This high concentration of ions increases the frequency of collisions between reactant molecules, leading to faster reaction rates.
