It's not ideal conditions (which are considered to be outside, on grass/in a forest or wooded area and or near water or a tree), but many people do practise indoors in an air conditioned room. Due to the constraints of daily life many don't really have the choice and, if living somewhere very hot such as South China, a room with air con is still preferable conditions to the extreme heat, (provided that it does not dry out the air too much!)

A refrigerator and air conditioner both remove heat from a cold reservoir and into a hot reservoir Why then does an air conditioner cool a room while a refrigerator warms a room?

Both an A/C unit and a fridge pump heat from one area into another. In the A/C unit the heat is pumped out of the room and into a discharge area, normally the outside atmosphere, thus the room is cooled, wheras for a fridge the heat is pumped from inside the fridge out into the room, thus the inside of the fridge is cooled and the room is warmed. The only difference between the working of the two is that the "room" is a different side of the heat pump.

What transfer thermal energy from inside a room to outside which is similar to a refrigerator?

An air conditioner operates similarly to a refrigerator by transferring thermal energy from inside a room to the outside. This is achieved through the use of a refrigeration cycle that absorbs heat from inside the room and releases it outside, cooling the indoor space in the process.

What would happen if you put a balloon in the room?

If you put a balloon in a room, it will likely float in the air due to the gases inside being lighter than the surrounding air. The balloon may move around the room based on air currents and may eventually settle on the ground when the gases inside cool down.

How can a fan be used to create negative air pressure in a room?

A fan can create negative air pressure in a room by blowing air out of the room, causing a decrease in air pressure inside compared to outside. This can be achieved by placing the fan in a window or door and directing it to blow air out of the room, pulling air from inside and creating a negative pressure environment.
