I think only France has a higher proportion of nuclear power, but then the size of the grid is much smaller than in the US, they have only about half the number of reactors. I think you will find the US actually produces more nuclear power than any other country. Many countries, like Australia and New Zealand, have decided not to have nuclear power out of choice, and therefore have a completely different attitude to France where it is about 75 percent of the total. It just shows how people in different places come to different decisions.
The US produces about 20 percent electricity from nuclear. Some countries do more, notably France with 80 percent. The UK is also at about 20 percent.
The United States produces more wind power than any other country, surpassing Germany, which previously produced the most
There are currently (year 2013) 31 countries having nuclear power reactors. The rest are not having nuclear power.
most countries. The United States, India, Iran, North Korea, and Pakistan are the only countries currently capable of using atomic power as an energy source.
France is the world largest generator of nuclear power by percentage.
Not sure whether the question means where in the world nuclear power is used or where is used as a power source.Anyhow, nuclear power is used in many countries in the world, both developed and developing countries. In some countries over 70 % of the electricity requirement is covered by nuclear power.Nuclear power is used mainly:As thermal energy in desalination and heating purposes and industryAs mechanical motive power for ships and submarinesAs electrical energy for its known applications.
