Water is a relatively good conductor of heat. I said "relatively" because it depends on what you compare it with. To show that it is a bad conductor of heat, you need to compare it with something that is even better conductor of heat (i.e. metal). What you can do: Use 2 fresh ice cubes that are similar in size. Put one inside a cup of water in room temperature. Wrap the other one with aluminium foil. Observe and you will see that the one that is wrapped with aluminium foil melts faster.
James Joule investigated his theories by conducting experiments to study the relationship between heat, work, and energy. He made significant contributions to the development of the first law of thermodynamics through his work on the mechanical equivalent of heat. Joule's famous experiment involved using a paddle wheel in a container of water to show the conversion of mechanical energy into heat.
A test tube is filled with tap water (about 25oC). An ice block is placed in the test tube and is kept at the bottom of the test tube by means of a wire gauze. Next (without delaying too much since the ice block would melt completely!), the test tube is bent and the upper end of the test tube placed in a Bunsen flame. It is found that the water at the upper end boils before the ice block melts. This shows that water is a poor conductor of heat.
After a performance, a conductor typically thanks the musicians, takes a bow with the orchestra, and sometimes acknowledges the audience by waving or applauding. They might also meet with soloists or other guest artists to show appreciation and discuss the performance.
An infrared lamp will show invisible heat radiation. Infrared lamps emit infrared light, which is not visible to the human eye but can be felt as heat due to its longer wavelength compared to visible light.
most experiment are bassed on extremes and the heat is either room temperature or very hot or below freezing to show extremes. That's my best guess,if I'm wrong sorry

What did Dalton's experiments show
How could you design an experiment to show how a fault is formed
use equal amounts of soil and water, two pans of the same size, an oven, and a thermometer.
He showed that you can show the true show when you show it correctly.
In an experiment, a positive control is used to show that the experiment can detect a specific response, while a negative control is used to show that the experiment does not detect a response when it should not.
Aim of an experiment to show that starch is produced in the presence of sunlight
Control
A model is to show something and it does not have a control group, like a experiment.
coorelation
An experiment must have a control to show what would happen if no factors were changed.
