streetlights have whats called a photovoltaic cell on top of there casings, this cell works by using sunlight to generate a little current, when there is less sun it will generate less electricty, when it generates less than a certin current it will triger a switch in the streetlight, when the sun comes back out bit by bit it will generate current again until a certin point which is related to how bright the sun is shining and then the light will turn back off
Simply because of the extra drain on the circuit. When a high-current device like a washing machine is switched on - it creates a temporary 'dip' in the power supply around the building. The mains supply compensates for the extra load on the circuit fairly quickly - but it's still noticeable by the dim lights.
Before starting, if the lights are switched on, all of the current from the battery is going to the lamps, but quite a lot of electrical power is required to start the engine, particularly if the oil is thicker because it is cold. When the engine starts it drives the dynamo or alternator which sends extra current to the battery which can then send more current to the lights.
The Red lights on top of wind turbines are anti-collision lights for aircraft.
Flashing lights might affect the balance by causing a person to feel unsteady or confused when confronted by these lights. Flashing lights can also cause seizures that affect balance in some cases.Ê
The light that is emitted by growing lights is a light that can closely mimic that light and warmth of the sun. These lights are considered HID lights and emit a more intense light than a florescent light.
A time delay relay is used in applications that have a need to be automatically switched on and off. A few applications that require time delay relays are strobe lights, stoplights, and Christmas tree lights.

It is the thing that lights up when power is switched on.
Yes. I switched the lamps and they work OK. There is only one fuse marked for the stiop lights and it's ok also.
Solar lights still receive some sun light on cloudy days. Many are able to store power from previous sunny days and continue working through a few cloudy days before needing more sun light to power them. http://www.livestrong.com/article/170281-do-solar-lights-charge-on-a-cloudy-day/
That is correct. On 1987 and later 900s the dashboard lights come on whenever the ignition is switched to ON.
