Vanilla extract can be substitute for vanilla essence on a 1:1 basis (e.g 1tsp of vanilla extract is equal to 1tsp vanilla essence), on a strength-for-strength basis at least. But the flavour of vanilla essence will never be as good as the flavour from vanilla extract, no matter how much of it you use.
1cc=1ml 5ml=1tsp
Usually you dont measure a dry light weight in oz like this but i will give you an answer. Theres about 1.86g per 1tsp Cayenne 28g=1oz 1.86g/28gm=.066oz Answer: .066oz
Here are some examples of where we use integers in real life:-To keep track of inventory in a supermarketCounting how many pages are in a bookNumbering collections of objectsA clock uses integersIn recipes you use integers to find out how much of one ingredient is used in a recipes. For example 2 eggs, 1tsp of vanilla essence and 1tsp of water.
Grams are weight, teaspoon is volume. I don't know where this person below got their numbers, but everywhere I read, 1tsp=5ml, and 1ml of water = approx 1g, therefore 1tsp of water =5g of water. (5g=5000mg) If what you are measuring weighs less than water, then 1tsp is less than 5g, and vice versa. So it appears that wherever this person below got their numbers, they were using something that weighs about half as much as water. (especially since to be precise, water actually weighs about 5.4g/tsp) What you need is a small kitchen scale to measure grams, or else you will have to look up the weight of whatever you are trying to measure and convert. There are 2.67 grams (g) in a tsp. Since there are 1000 mg per g, this gives 2.67 g x 1000 mg/g = 2670 mg. Ergo 1 tsp = 2670 mg.
