∙ 14y agoWell now you're not really asking the right question here. Density is mass per volume, while pounds is a measure of mass.
The (average) density of granite is 2.75 g/cm3, which is equal to 171.676892 pounds per cubic foot.
This means that one cubic foot of granite has a mass of 171.676892 pounds.

∙ 11y agoDepending on the exact composition of the rock, the density of granite generally
ranges between 2,600 - 2,800 kg/m3 .
On Earth, it weighs 25,480 - 27,440 newtons (5,732 - 6,173 pounds).

Different quarries will have different granite and the densities will differ slightly.

how much does 1 cubic yard of carpeting with padding weigh
That depends how wide and how high the line of granite is! Or whatever you mean with "gunite". The density of a substance is normally specified per CUBIC yard, or some other unit of volume - not per yard.

It depends on the material used for the sweater.
