IF the force is in the direction of the motion, then it's (6 x 3) = 18 joules.

If the force is at an angle to the direction of motion, then it's less than that.

Calculate the work done to move a dresser 7 meters using a force of 2.5 newtons?

A force of 2.5 newtons acting through a distance of 7 meters delivers 17.5 newton meters = 17.5 joules of work.

How much force is done with the work being 10 and distance being 3?

Work is force times displacement (distance). Thus, about 3 work is being done. The unit depends on the unit of the work and distance. If the work unit is Joules, and the distance unit is meters, then the force unit would be Newtons.

If you exert a force of 4.5N on a book to slide it across a table and do 2.7J of work in the process how far have you moved the book?

Work Done = Force x Displacement 2.7 joules = 4.5 newtons x Displacement(in meters) Displacement = 0.6 meters

For a constant force, work = force x distance. In other words, just multiply the two. The answer is in joules.

How much work is done by pushing a refrigerator with a force of 50 newtons 3 meters across the room?

When a force of 50 newtons is maintained through a distance of 3 meters, 150 newton-meters = 150 joules of work has been done. Whether there was a refrigerator involved, or whether it happened in the kitchen, bathroom or garage, and whether in daylight or dark, are completely irrelevant parameters.
