Bulking in a wastewater treatment system can reduce the removal efficiency of biological oxygen demand (BOD) as it can lead to poor settling of biomass and reduced contact between bacteria and organic matter. This can result in a decrease in the effectiveness of the biological processes responsible for BOD removal. Managing and controlling bulking through proper operation and maintenance practices is essential to maintain high BOD removal efficiency in wastewater treatment systems.
BOD loading rate refers to the amount of biological oxygen demand (BOD) entering a body of water over a specific time period, usually measured in terms of mass per unit time (e.g., mg/L/day). It is used to assess the impact of organic pollutants on water bodies and their ability to support aquatic life.
At rest, tension in the string and weight of the bob are the two forces both equal and opposite. During its displaced position, the weight of the bod, tension of the string and restoring force all the three would act on it
Scientific methods for determining body composition include Dual-Energy X-ray Absorptiometry (DXA), bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA), air displacement plethysmography (Bod Pod), and underwater weighing. These methods measure the amount of fat, muscle, bone, and water in the body to provide accurate insight into an individual's overall body composition.
An electrical current is simply the flow of free electrons in and on the conductors. So they are a bit like water molecules in a garden hose. And like those water molecules the flow of free electrons can be physically impeded by whatever is in or on the electrical conductor. When a material is a good conductor, the atoms and molecules of that good conductor do not get in the way of the free electrons. They do not resist the flow of those electrons very much. So even with just a low voltage to push the electrons along, the flow, the current of the electrons is high. But when a material is a bod conductor, the atoms and molecules of that bad conductor do physically get in the way of those free electrons so that they cannot flow freely through the conductor. The resistance is high in a poor conductor. So it takes a relatively higher voltage to push electrons along in a bad conductor...if indeed they can be pushed at all. Some materials are so bad at conducting it's almost impossible to move those electrons along.

When diluted water is added in surface wastewater to take immediate BOD is called unseeded and after 5 days of period wastewater received saturated oxygen from diluted water is called now seeded BOD.
