Sound tends to travel better downstairs in a house because solid materials like floors can block and absorb sound, making it harder to hear upstairs.
The sound of gentle rain falling on leaves.
I enjoy hearing birds chirping in the morning or the sound of gentle rain on the roof.
Rain can create a white noise effect that helps mask other sounds, making it easier to focus on specific sounds such as speech or music. Additionally, the sound of rain can have a calming effect on the brain, which may enhance auditory processing.
Typically, sounds of breaking glass, forced entry, footsteps, or banging noises can be indicators that someone is breaking into your house. It's important to stay calm and call for help immediately in such situations.
The ability to hear sounds in a room or hallway depends on factors such as the room's acoustics, size, shape, and the presence of sound-absorbing materials. Rooms with hard surfaces and minimal furnishings tend to have stronger sound reflections and reverberations, making it easier to hear sounds. In contrast, rooms with soft surfaces and sound-absorbing materials may dampen sound, making it harder to hear.
Many of the newer apartment complexes are two-story buildings that have first and second floor units. There are some advantages and disadvantages to living either upstairs or downstairs.Easier to Get in and Out of Downstairs ApartmentsDownstairs apartments are ideal if you are not in any condition to climb stairs. It is easier to move in and out of a downstairs apartment. It is also easier to bring groceries and other items into your apartment when you don’t have to climb several stairs to get to your front door. The ease of accessibility makes downstairs apartments perfect for older individuals or people who have children that like to go in and out of the apartment often. Downstairs apartments are also a better choice if you have large furniture that will need to be brought in when you first move into your apartment. No Noise Above You in Upstairs ApartmentsOne of the biggest benefits of having an upstairs apartment is that you will never hear footsteps from your ceiling. Living downstairs can be a bit noisier, especially if the upstairs apartment houses small children who run around a lot. Upstairs apartment living feels more like you are in a private house because the noise from your neighbors is reduced to a minimum. As an upstairs neighbor you may get complaints from the apartment below you if you tend to walk heavily or make a lot of noise that could be carried through their ceiling. The Element of SafetyUpstairs and downstairs apartments each have their own share of security issues. A downstairs apartment can be more open to the parking lot and people who walk through the complex at all hours. When you live downstairs, you may feel like you need to keep your blinds drawn and windows closed more often. Downstairs apartments are easier to get out of if there is any structural damage to the property, however. In the case of severe storms or a fire, downstairs neighbors can leave the building far more quickly than upstairs neighbors. Each apartment has its own unique sense of security. It is up to you to decide where you feel the safest.
when you go into new jersey find the stall door in the dumpster and in the bathroom. copy down the poem on a piece of paper and go to the house (are you writing this down?) when you hear thump thump go upstairs and find the raccoon. when you come back downstairs look out the window. the Jersey devil is looking in the window. you can hear something walking upstairs and shadows moving orbs in basement and something breathing and hissing?
well, i think he has a little mix up downstairs, at least that's what I hear....
The treadmill is very quiet with the low glide noise reduction. You should not hear your downstairs neighbors.
From what I hear, It is possible to lead a cow up the stairs. But you cannot lead them down!
It depends on how loud the music is. But, even if your neighbors downstairs and upstairs can't hear the music, they still might be able to hear the beat thumping, which can be annoying (well, it doesn't really bother me, but it drives my mom crazy). Personally, I've never understood why people complain that they can't sleep because of their neighbor's music. Why don't they just buy some earplugs? Then everybody's happy. Best thing to do, I think, is to just play your music at whatever volume you feel is reasonable. If someone complains, then turn it down.
so you can hear beater and easier
I can hear the music playing from my neighbor's house.
In the original ending to Paranormal Activity, Katie got out of bed and went downstairs like you see in the theatrical version. Micah ran downstairs once she started screaming, and then there was silence. Katie then came back up into the bedroom by herself, and she was covered in blood. She sat down next to the bed and began rocking back and forth. Time elapsed for about 17 hours while she sat and rocked. Then about 9:00 the next night, you hear her friend enter the house downstairs and holler for Katie and Micah. Her friend obviously finds Micah's body because she starts screaming and leaves the house. Shortly after that, the police show up at the house, and come upstairs looking around. They see Katie rocking next to the bed, rocking, still holding the knife. Katie seemingly comes out of her trance and starts toward the police officers. Thinking she is going to attack them, the police officers shoot and kill her. There was also an ending filmed where, after killing Micah, Katie comes back into the bedroom and slits her own throat.Rumor has it that these two alternate endings will be included on the DVD version.
One example could be - The drunk was too incoherent to understand. Another might be - Jack couldn't hear his wife's incoherent nagging from downstairs.
Sometimes it is likely in a lot of times it isn't true to hear mice. It really depends if you have any in your house.
