Electricity is good and bad.
Good because without it there would be no internet or lighting and common household objects like toasters, hair dryers and ipods.
Bad because you have to get the electricity from somewhere and that's burning fossil fuels such as coal and soon there will be no coal left.
Electricity is good because large amounts can be produced in one location, power plant, for use in multiple locations. It is easily transmitted through wires from one location to another, with very little loss or dissipation. No other energy sources can be easily transmitted in this manner.
I cant really think of good or bad ways, i could give you some tips though, if its wired badly, it probably wont even work, just make sure that when you are wiring that you dont ever have any bare hot wires touching anything, especially metal receptacle boxes, if bare wire is exposed , it would be advisable to cover it up with electrical tape, anyways happy wiring.
I don't know what you mean by that question. I can only guess.
I'm assuming you mean "How does electricity cause harm to the environment". If so, the method by which it is generated is the problem. It is widely believed that Carbon Dioxide gas is the main contributor to the greenhouse effect (or global warming). Whilst electricity itself does not produce carbon dioxide, it must be produced (as energy cannot be created or destroyed). Currently all of the ways of producing electricity involve rotating a turbine whose energy is converted to electricity. The problem is with many power plants that use heat to make the turbines revolve. Often the heat is generated by burning coal and oil, which gives off carbon dioxide as it is burned.
There are other green ways of producing electricity - hydroelectric dams for instance. These rotate the turbines by the power of water flowing over them, which doesn't produce any carbon dioxide as a byproduct.
Generally, electronics are good when they are used in the right manner. However, they are also considered to be bad due to the high consumption of energy and may also be hazardous in some cases.
Electricity is very useful and today is used for almost everything, from lighting to space travel. Care has to be taken however, as electricity can harm the human body and may cause cardiac arrest if enough of it travels through your body.
Electricity itself has no effects on the environment; but some of the ways in which it is generated might.
* pro - it is very clean * con - it has a significant impact on forest area due to flooding and the dams kill migrating fish.
Coal power stations burn coal to heat water to produce steam, which is then used to spin electricity turbines to generate electricity. The burning coal releases carbon dioxide.Wind farms have blades which turn in the wind to spin electricity turbines to generate electricity. There are no harmful carbon dioxide emissions.
False. Nuclear power is used to generate about 25% of the electricity in the United States, and about 75% of the electricity in France. Nuclear power is far safer than coal-fired power plants, and produces no harmful emissions, if you care about such things.
Electricity that is not moving is called static electricity. you know, the small electric shock that you can give people after rubbing your feet and lifting them off the carpet in class. This electricity can be harmful if not treated proporly, trust me, my toung is still hurting!
The safest form of renewable energy is solar energy. The solar panels are limited in purpose because they can only be used to provide electricity for a dwelling rather than fuel for an automobile. However, solar energy is not radioactive, will not emit pollution or harmful chemicals, and might even reduce the cost of electricity over time.
Phone radiation can be harmful to humans. It is harmful when the person is on the phone a lot.
i have no ansa for u
Renewable energy is not really harmful in any way. When it is turned into electricity it can kill you, like all electricity.
it is harmful at one side and useful at the other side.
wind can help power our homes with electricity. It is good, because we are using an environmental-friendly source of electricity.
As of 2011, about 42 percent of electricity in the US was derived from coal. There is a push in the 21st century to use other methods of electricity since coal is harmful to the environment.
windmills are generated by windand are used to generate electricity. Nowadays, electricity are generated by dams which are very harmful for the natural resources .
Think about the question for a minute.... Lots of water, millions of volts of electricity and a large metal tank on your back which is a fine conductor of said electricity. Do the math.

they dont release harmful chemicals. instead they use electricity to run the motor. go green :)
Windmills provide clean energy. They provide electricity without emitting harmful gases into the atmosphere.

Solar energy is taking sunlight and putting it to work generating electricity. That means less polution and a better envoironment
