An original 1900 Edison light bulb could be worth anywhere from $30 to several hundred dollars, depending on its condition and rarity. Some well-preserved examples have sold for over $1,000 at auction.
In 1900, 100 pounds would have had the same numerical value as it does now, as the value of currency changes over time but the numerical value of the weight remains constant.

Payson Jones has written: 'A power history of the consolidated Edison system, 1878-1900' -- subject(s): Electric light plants, Electric lighting, History
Thomas Edison made the light bulb in the late 1800's after Michael Faraday's tests to understand electrictity. It changed peoples lives because it took them out of the dark and then gas was dicovered to keep the light 'alive' which led to heating and cooking, which they never had before. I think, hope it helps :)
The most recently sold one which I could locate went for $410 U.S. dollars used.
In the early 1900's there was no " news media" as we know it. Edison was looked up to and admired. Thousands mourned his death and there was a big funeral when he died.

Value is too difficult to be accurate without seeing the gun. Condition which includes the amount of original finish and original configuration will determine value. Auto 5's with poly-chokes, compensators and recoil pads (other than Mag 12's) will reduce value. Near mint guns and original box will command an extra premium. Recommend taking it to a gun shop for appraisal.

Commeratives, as a rule, are not a good investment. You don't state who made it and that impacts value. For maximum worth it will have to be in the original shipping box, untouched with all original paperwork. Possible range of 500-1500;
