Advantages- With some batteries you are able to recharge them which means that you buy them at a low cost, to then be able to continuosly use them. They are easy to get hold of as you can by them from pretty much any shop and also you can use electrical appliances where ever you are. Can be used for all sort of things. Disadvantages-Some don't hold a lot of power so you have to get rid of them.

When you get rid of them they contribute to landfill and the acid inside of it pollutes the earth. While you can recharge them they come to an end and these recharge-able batteries comewith a heftier price tag
