no matter how high you drop the feather, it cannot kill you. because it too light, it can only go so fast but wont go any faster once it reach it terminal velocity.

Which falls faster a quarter or feather?

In a vacuum, a feather and a quarter would fall at the same rate due to gravity's influence. However, in normal conditions with air resistance, the feather falls slower since it has a larger surface area, creating more air resistance.

What would fall faster a feather or a piece of paper?

In a vacuum, a feather and a piece of paper would fall at the same rate due to gravity. However, in Earth's atmosphere, the feather would fall more slowly due to air resistance.

Can a quarter and a feather fall at the same speed?

theoritically yes. if they are placed in a vacuum packed room with no air, just empty space, they can fall at the same rate. if they fell in air, the aerodynamics wouldn't equal out, so the quarter would fall faster.

In the absence of air a penny and a feather that are dropped from the same height at the same time will fall at which speeds relative to each other?

In the absence of air resistance, the penny and feather will fall at the same speed relative to each other. This is due to the acceleration due to gravity being the same for both objects, regardless of their mass.

How can a feather fall faster than a marble?

A feather can fall more slowly than a marble in air due to differences in their size, shape, and air resistance. The greater surface area of a feather compared to a marble causes more air resistance, which slows down the feather's fall. A denser object like a marble will fall faster than a less dense object like a feather because it overcomes air resistance more effectively.

Can a Feather kill a human?

A feather can kill a human only if it gets stuck in the trachea (wind pipe).

On the Moon if a basketball and a feather are dropped from the same height about the ground which one hits first?

both reaches the ground at the same time because in the moon there occurs free fall.

How do falling objects behave?

Falling objects behave in such a way that heavier objects will fall faster than the lighter ones. Try to drop a stone and a feather from the same height and at the same time, the stone will fall to the ground first.

What force made the feather fall slowly?

Air resistance or drag force is the force that made the feather fall slowly. As the feather falls through the air, the air molecules collide with it, creating resistance that slows down its descent.

Will a stone and a feather fall with the same speed if there were no air?

both will fall at the same time

Which object would fall first on the moon a bowling ball a feather or a large empty box?

On the Moon, all objects fall at the same rate regardless of their mass due to the lack of air resistance. Therefore, a bowling ball, a feather, and a large empty box would all fall simultaneously when dropped from the same height. This phenomenon was famously demonstrated by astronaut David Scott during the Apollo 15 mission. In a vacuum, where there is no air, the feather and the bowling ball hit the surface at the same time.
