flaxibility on cranck shaft during the operation ,if we will not find deflection on cranck shaft it mean it's can be broken or band.
The galvanometer constant is the factor that relates the deflection of a galvanometer to the current passing through it. It is usually given as the current required to produce a unit deflection (such as one full-scale deflection) on the galvanometer. To find the galvanometer constant, you can pass a known current through the galvanometer and measure the corresponding deflection, then calculate the constant as the current divided by the deflection.
If the maximum bending moment occurs at a point, then the corresponding deflection will also be maximum at that point. This is because the deflection of a beam is directly influenced by the bending moment acting on it. So, wherever the bending moment is greatest, the deflection will also be greatest.
The formula for calculating the deflection of a composite beam is typically determined using the principles of superposition, which involves adding the deflections of individual components of the beam. This can be expressed as: (i) where is the total deflection of the composite beam and i represents the deflection of each individual component.
A galvanometer shows opposite deflection because the current flowing through it causes a magnetic field that interacts with the permanent magnet inside the galvanometer. The direction of the magnetic field determines the direction of deflection of the needle, resulting in opposite deflection depending on the direction of current flow.
Downward deflection in a beam can be caused by various factors such as applied loads, weight of the beam itself, support conditions, and material properties. The beam experiences bending under these factors, resulting in deformation or deflection. Factors such as stiffness, beam geometry, and loading conditions influence the magnitude of the downward deflection.

An engine/compressor crankshaft has several places where rods to the pistons are connected. The rods are on a pin which is offset from the center of the crankshaft. Thus, as the crankshaft rotates, the pin orbits in a circle around it. The connecting rod is thus forced back and forth, due to the pin's motion. The pin is connected to the crankshaft by two pieces called WEBs. On a perfectly-aligned crankshaft, the distance between the two webs is constant, even as the shaft rotates. However, after months of constant use, the mounting of the engine/compressor can change: ground settling, worn support structures, bolt tension changes, etc. When this happens, the distance between the webs can start to vary with rotation. The amount of variation in this distance is called WEB DEFLECTION. That means the webs are subject to cyclic stress every rotation, and if severe enough, the crankshaft can be destroyed. WEB DEFLECTION is thus an indicator of the state of crankshaft alignment. Even a few mils variation is indicative of trouble. Manufacturers recommend checking this periodically, and re-aligning the shaft if the deflection is over a given limit. Here is a drawing of a crankshaft, with the web labeled: http://www.motorera.com/dictionary/pics/c/crankshaft.gif
Crankshaft used to transforms the linear motion of the pistons into a rotational motion that is transmitted to the load.Piston connected with crankshaft by connecting rod. Each units of the crankshaft supported by crank bearing(usually journal bearing) In multi-cylinder engine every units piston connected with crankshaft create rotational motion according to firing order.Crank shaft alignment is necessary for smooth engine operation.

The deflection of the ball caused it to change direction. The politician used deflection to redirect attention away from the controversial issue. The deflection of the light off the mirror created a dazzling effect in the room.
Electromagnetic deflection is used because it can create greater deflection angles of the electron beam compared to electrostatic deflection.
