There's not really any such thing.

One common and therefore cheap type of laser diode emits a red light, as does the fairly common (or at least it used to be common; the diodes are so much cheaper I imagine they mostly use them now) laboratory helium-neon laser. So if I had to pick a single color that was "common" I'd say red.

There are green and even blue laser diodes now, but they're more expensive than the red ones and therefore aren't as ubiquitous.

What part of the body can be most easily damaged by a laser beam?

The eyes are the most susceptible to damage from a laser beam. Direct exposure to a laser beam can cause permanent eye injury, including burns to the retina. It is important to always exercise caution and wear appropriate eye protection when working with lasers.

How laser light is produced a laser gun?

A laser gun produces laser light using a process called stimulated emission, where light is amplified and emitted in a focused, coherent beam. This is achieved by exciting atoms or molecules in a gain medium with energy source, such as electricity or light. This energy input stimulates the emission of photons, resulting in a concentrated beam of laser light.

What part of the body will be damaged most easily by a laser beam?

The eyes are the most vulnerable part of the body to be damaged by a laser beam. The intense concentration of light can cause serious harm to the delicate tissues of the eyes, leading to vision loss or even permanent blindness. It is crucial to use appropriate eye protection when working with lasers or being exposed to laser beams.

Is the green laser the most powerful laser color?

Power level is determined by the technical specifications of the laser itself, not the color. Green lasers are often perceived as brighter or more visible to the human eye compared to red or blue lasers due to the eye's sensitivity to that wavelength. However, the power of the laser is independent of its color.

What sends out a narrow intense beam of light?

Well... Most LEDs, Light Emitting Diodes, have a very narrow wavelength span, so they'd fit part of your question. However, they're not always that intense. So you're probably asking about a LASER.

What can you use to split a laser beam?

The most common method is through the use of a beam splitter. This employs -- to keep it simple -- a partially transparent mirror placed at a 45 degree angle relative to the laser beam. Some of the beam passes through the mirror, and the rest is reflected perpendicular to the original beam by the mirror.

Properties of laser?

Laser has certain unique properties, namely, mono-chromatic, coherence and directionality, compared to ordinary sources of light. The most important property of laser light is that it can be precisely collimated into a parallel beam.

What are some common manufacterers of laser printers?

Although most computer companies also produce laser printers, some of the most common models are from HP, Samsung, Brother, and Ricoh.

What is a laster cutter?

laser cutter? laser cutter can be thought of as three main parts: a laser, a controller, and a surface. The laser is like a pencil - the beam emitted from it allows the controller to trace patterns onto the surface. The controller (usually a computer) controls the direction, intensity, speed of movement, and spread of the laser beam aimed at the surface. The surface is picked to match what the laser can act on.laser engraving machineThere are three main genres of : The most common is the X-Y table where, usually, the workpiece (surface) is stationary and the laser optics move around in X and Y directions, directing the laser beam to draw vectors. Sometimes the laser is stationary and the workpiece moves. Sometimes the workpiece moves in the Y axis and the laser in the X axis. A second genre is for cylindrical workpieces (or flat workpieces mounted around a cylinder) where the laser effectively traverses a fine helix and on/off laser pulsing produces the desired image on a raster basis. In the third method, both the laser and workpiece are stationary and galvo mirrors move the laser beam over the workpiece surface. Laser engraving machine using this technology can work in either raster or vector mode.
