It seems a mystery I know. E=mc2 ; or m=E/c2 What this says is that Energy is exactly equivalent to some Mass multiplied by a very huge number which is c X c. Here is one application (this is how the Sun makes energy by turning hydrogen into helium!): 4 hydrogen atoms weighs 4 X 1.0079 Atomic Mass units. This is 4.0316. These fuse into one helium atom which is 4.0026 atomic mass units. But some mass has vanished! Actually it turned into energy. 4.0316-4.0026=.029 amu X c2 =E. All you need is the proper units and you can be a nuclear physicist. 1 atomic mass unit = 1.66053886 × 10-27 kilograms. C=3X 108 meters, E=Joules. You do the math. Pretty cool huh?!

Are planets energy receivers?

Yes, they receive energy from the Sun. The power received from the Sun by a planet is 1.36 kilowatts per square metre divided by the square of the planet's distance from the Sun in astronomical units. Neptune receives only about 1½ watts per square metre.

How do you solve the time by the given of mass and kinetic energy?

Kinetic energy is equal to one-half of the product of an object's mass and the square of its velocity. Velocity is change in displacement divided by time. If you have the kinetic energy and mass, you can calculate the velocity by taking the square root of the quotient of kinetic energy and mass, and thereby solving for the velocity.

What is the square root of the speed of light in metres-second?

The speed of light is 299,792,458 meters per second .The magnitude of the square root of that quantity is roughly 17,314.5 ,and its unit is [ square root of (meter / second) ] .The square root of a speed has no physical significance or meaning.
