Janka wood hardness scale - The Janka rating is a measure of the amount of force it takes to push a .444" diameter steel ball half way into a piece of wood. The speed of growth of a tree can effect the Janka rating.
The Shore A hardness scale has been used for decades to characterize the relative hardness of flexible PVC. Rigid PVC should be measured by the Shore D durometer.
I need to know the types of wood most common in Iowa, scaled from hardest to softest. Thanks.
Polyvinyl chloride is a linear structure . PVC itself is hard and rigid in its pure form. But when additional substances are added to it , it becomes soft. Hardness of PVC is R105.
Mohs scale; )
the properties of PVC are;it is durable - it has to be because it can be used for window framesit is water proofit is impearmable
Pvc is used to make dissposable glasses
PVC is a durable form of plastic, polyvinyl chloride.
The density of PVC is 1390kg/m3
Depends what colour it is.

Identify plasticizer used in pvc
PVC Primer and PVC glue
Normally we use PVC 70\30 low hardness rubber. If anybody can suggest better then this please let me know & i will great full to them for the suggestion.
PVC is commonly used in plumbing
It's not used for making PVC resin, but it is used in processing it - they use it as a lubricant when making rigid PVC articles like pipe.
The value "80" in k80 is relatred to the hardness. The gauge related to the weight for a givens surface of material. For example my inflatable kayak is made of k80 28 gauge pvc.
Chlorinated - PVC normally used on hot water
PVC interacts with lipid in TPN.
PVC stands for polyvinyl chloride, which is what PVC pipes are made of.
Calcium carbonate is used as a filler additive in PVC.
No gasoline will melt regular white PVC pipe!
