The chemical energy in the muscles of the person doing the sawing is transformed into mechanical energy at the tip of the saw teeth.

As these abrade the metal the friction (rubbing of the two surfaces over one another) causes some of the the mechanical energy to be converted into vibrational energy at the atomic/molecular level in the substance of both the saw and the metal. This sort of vibrational energy is known as heat and both get hot.
