Get on the scale without the penny, take a measurement.

Get on the scale with* the penny, take a second measurement.

The difference is the weight of the penny.

Note - it will be more accurate with a Digital bathroom scale.

the volume of a cylinder. V=pi*r2*h. Volume equals pi times the radius of the penny squared times the heighth. now if you want to get into the really serious micrometric volume taking into account all the valleys and ridges of the surface details on the obverse and reverse faces, well then GOOD LUCK and I will stay as far away from that nightmare of weeks and months of measurements as I can possibly get.

You would use grams. One US penny has a weight of 2.5 grams.
