ALL renewable energy depends on the sun for its power and existence EXCEPT geothermal, which is heat from below the ground.
solar energy can be used to generate electricity, hot water, or the heat can be stored under ground for later recover and use.
Okay, so renewable energy is basically energy that can be used again, and is an endless resource; the opposite to things like coal which are burnt- full stop. Solar panels can transform sunlight (renewable energy) into electricity, wind turbines can transform wind power into electricity and dams can do the same with hydraulic power I think. Electricity can be turned into heat in turn, or heat can be found directly from the sun, a renewable energy source. I hope this helps!
all renewable energy resources (water falls, solar, wind, ...)a recource that winll not run out is wind water and elementsWind.
Fossil Fuels. The sun, wind and heat from the earth core is continuously being produced. Fossil Fuels were created over a long period of time and required a lot of heat and pressure to be created which is why they are not considered to be renewable.
That is dependent on how it is produced. Heat produced by burning fossil fuels in not renewable, but heat from concentrated solar is renewable.
"Renewable energy is energy which comes from natural resources such as sunlight, wind, rain, tides, and geothermal heat, which are renewable (naturally replenished).""A non-renewable resource is a natural resource which cannot be produced, grown, generated, or used on a scale which can sustain its consumption rate. These resources often exist in a fixed amount, or are consumed much faster than nature can create them."A:non-renewable energy is energy that can only be used once eg. (coal, oil, natural, gas, uranium etc) renewable energy is energy that can be used over and over eg. (solar power, wind power etc)A:its what energy will not be finished in the time to come. when a source is present in abundance/plenty, it is known as renewable energy such as sunlight, wind, rain, tides, and geothermal heat and A non-renewable resource is a natural resource which cannot be produced, grown, generated, or used on a scale which can sustain its consumption rate, once depleted there is no more available for future needs.
Geothermal energy is renewable because it is using heat for the earths "core" and water (turned to steam by the heat) to power steam turbines. Both the heat and water are renewable resources thus geothermal energy is renewable.
Renewable energy is energy generated from natural resources such as sunlight, wind, rain, tides, and geothermal heat, which are renewable (naturally replenished).
It is renewable It uses wasted heat and light energy
heat coming from where? heat from a fire isnt, heat from the sun is.
" Renewable energy is energy which comes from natural resources such as sunlight, wind, rain, tides, and geothermal heat, which are renewable(naturally replenished)." - Wikipedia. So no, renewable energy has no harmful gases whatsoever.
It is renewable It uses wasted heat and light energy
solar energy wind energy and geothermal heat
Geothermal energy is renewable, as the heat from the center of the earth will be available as long as we ever need it. This energy is the only renewable energy that does NOT come from the sun.
It is renewable source
It's not going to run out.
We can continue using petroleum, if used somewhat carefully. Other than that, renewable energy options come to mind, such as solar energy, wind energy, hydraulic energy, heat from inside the Earth, etc.
Work is simply the transfer of energy. Heat energy is also known as thermal energy.
