It doesn't, and we can't imagine where you got that idea.

A light bulb that's operating at 150W is dissipating 50% more energy (work)

than a bulb operating at 100W.

Could it be that someone had you on a bicycle, pedaling furiously to turn a generator

and light some light bulbs ? If so, that's such an uncontrolled experiment, with so many

variables involved, that you really can't draw any conclusions from what you saw, except

for the fact that it takes work to generate electrical energy.

What consumes more power a light bulb or a refrigerator when they are on?

On average, a refrigerator consumes more power than a light bulb when they are both on. This is because refrigerators require more energy to maintain a constant temperature and run continuously, while light bulbs only consume electricity when they are switched on.

Why do ordinary light bulbs take more electrical energy than efficient bulbs?

The filament on normal light bulbs require a higher current of electricity to light up, and are more resistant to electricity as well. This causes it to use more electricity and generate more heat.

Could we travel faster than the speed of light Why or why not?

No. Just to travel AT the speed of light would require more energy than the entire universe contains. So all objects move at some fraction of light speed, never 1 nor greater.

When was the light blub invented?

In glass blue light bends more than green light and green light bends more than red light Which one of the following has the highest index of refraction in glass?

The blue light is refracted more.

Why does blue light scatter more than red light?

Blue light has a shorter wavelength than red light, which causes it to interact more with particles and molecules in the atmosphere, resulting in more scattering. This is known as Rayleigh scattering, where shorter wavelengths are scattered more effectively than longer wavelengths.

Why does violet light has more energy than a red light?

Violet light has a shorter wavelength and higher frequency than red light. Energy of a photon is directly proportional to its frequency, so violet light has more energy than red light.
